- I often used 7 sheets of patterned paper instead of 6 because I like it really full and curly. If you only have 6 sheets, make sure you pin the curl in several places to extend it and cover the foam base.
- You can make all of the curls while watching tv or a movie. I have even made curls during our road trips to Northern California. Cut all of the strips beforehand and then curl them when you have time. You will be amazed how quickly your shopping bag or shoe box fills with completed curls. It is addicting and fun!
- I highly recommend investing in a fingertip thimble by Dritz if you plan on making several of these wreaths. It gives you the control to accurately push the pins into the foam without damaging the other paper curls. It will save your fingertip from being sore from pushing in all the pins.
This curly paper wreath makes for a great gift as my mother has already put in a request for one. I urge you to try it and you won’t be disappointed. Be creative!
