Photography Monday: Denver Botanic Gardens

July 29, 2013 by Tina Kistinger 4 Comments

While on vacation in Denver, we spent a half day at the Denver Botanic Gardens.  Located in Denver about 10 minutes east of downtown, the Denver Botanic Gardens are nestled in a quaint neighborhood.  We strolled the gardens at a leisurely pace while taking lots of photos.  We often like to visit botanic gardens while on vacation because we enjoy discovering new plants and we find a visit to the garden is a joyful respite.

How beautiful this garden must be in the winter covered in snow.

The Japanese Garden was charming and intimate.  A little bit of zen in the big city.  Next week, I will share more water lily photos.
