Cricut Friday: Medal Card

January 2, 2015 by Tina Kistinger Leave a Comment

Great achievement!

Happy New Year!  I didn’t mean to be away so long, but I celebrated the holidays with my family and friends.  A good time was had by all!  You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:

  • Cricut machine
  • Creative Memories/Cricut Total Sports cartridge
  • Cuttlebug machine
  • embossing folder
  • cardstock
  • adhesive

Fold the lime green cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x5.5″ and cut the white cardstock to 5.25″x 4″.  Cut all of the pieces for the medal at 4″ and the K at 1.25″.  Run the white cardstock and silver cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss.  Adhere the layers of the medal together and then adhere the medal to the embossed cardstock.

This card was in commemoration of my husband’s sister completing the New York City Marathon.  Amazing!  My husband wanted her to have her own special medal to remember her outstanding achievement.  Go Nance!
