Make this easy DIY Halloween card using your Cricut. Fun to give this spooky handmade card to the Halloween lovers in your life. #craftedliving #halloween #halloweencrafts #greetingcard #diycrafts #diy #cricut #cricutprojectsBee-ware!  This card is the last in my Halloween card series using the same Cricut cartridge, Create a Critter 2.  I love the creative depth of this cartridge and how I am still creating new masterpieces with it including this Vampire Bee Halloween Card.

Gather the following tools and supplies to create the Vampire Bee Halloween Card:

(These next 2 links are affiliate links which means I get a commission if you purchase through me.)

  1. Cut the orchid cardstock to be 4.25″ high by 8.5″ wide.  Cut the gray cardstock to be 5.25″ high x 4″wide.
  2. Fold the orchid cardstock in half lengthwise and use the bone folder to crisp the edge.
  3. Run the gray cardstock using the embossing folder through the Cuttlebug machine.
  4. Cut the vampire bee from Create a Critter 2 at 3.75″ and beware at .75″.  Adhere all of the layers of the bee together.
  5. Adhere the bee and greeting to the embossed cardstock.
  6. Adhere the wiggle eyes to the bee using the glue pen to complete the card.
  7. Write your own sentiment or download the holiday sentiments freebie below and mail the Vampire Bee Halloween Card.

It is fun to create contrast between the cuteness of the image and the background, which is also demonstrated in the previous three cards of this series: Skeleton Bear, Witchy Turtle and Masked Owl.  This cartridge was also used to create a few cards in the 31 Days of Handmade Cards with a very different look in Day 3, Day 8, Day 9, Day 13 and Day 25.  I love getting the most out of my tools and supplies and the Create a Critter 2 cartridge is definitely a winner.

Meet me back here for a few projects celebrating and honoring Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead.  Be creative!
