Crafted Living

Photography Monday: Ramona Flowers

My mother and father have an amazing garden filled with flowers, fruit trees, berry vines and vegetables.  My father is the son of a farmer and definitely possesses a green thumb.  My mother is the creative one, who decides what she wants with my father executing the task of planting and maintaining.  Between the two of them, they have created a garden that blooms all year long.

A cluster of pink loveliness!

A cluster of pink loveliness!

A tight weave of many pink petals.

A white hydrangea in dappled sunlight.

Speckled spontaneity

These charming flowers have wrapped themselves around the palm tree.

These violas thought it would be best to grow in between the cracks of the brick step.

The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies.  -Gertrude Jekyll
