Photography Monday: Front Door Series #2

August 18, 2014 by Tina Kistinger Leave a Comment

A window to the world.

A window to the world.

I was sorting through photos to scrapbook and found this photo from the 2012 South Pasadena Garden Tour.  I didn’t take that many garden photos because I must not have been amazed by what I saw.  But, this front door is fabulous!  I love the hinges and that is what makes this door spectacular.  The ivy creeping around the door is lovely too and it brings softness to the structure.  Some of you are thinking that it is a risk to have a large glass window for your front door.  However, the view of the landscape and the light streaming in is what makes it worth it.  Do you agree?

Freedom is the open window through which pours the sunlight of the human spirit and human dignity.  -Herbert Hoover
