Hydrangea Beauty

Dried hydrangea on display in our downstairs bathroom

Last month, I had beautiful hydrangeas on display for my husband’s 50th birthday party courtesy of my mother’s garden.  After about a week, they had all dried even though there was water in the container.  This is common for this species.  I took the best specimens and arranged them in several vases.  Can you believe it?  Doesn’t it look beautiful?  Much better than silk flowers and it makes me happy that I am able to prolong its beauty.
