Woof! Woof! Happy Birthday!
A dear friend of ours, who shows dogs, celebrated his birthday over the holiday weekend. You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:
- Cricut machine
- Cricut Create a Critter 2 cartridge
- Cuttlebug machine
- Cuttlebug embossing folder
- cardstock
- adhesive
- googly eyes
Fold the light blue pink cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″ and cut the gold cardstock to 5.25″x 4″. Cut all of the pieces for the dog at 3.5″. Adhere all of the layers of the dog together. Run the gold cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Adhere the dog to the embossed cardstock and googly eye to the dog.
This design was initially created to be a patriotic dog for the 4th of July, but I changed it to be more celebratory. He loved the card and he said it reminded him of one of his dogs. Another satisfied recipient!
