Cricut Friday: Raccoon Birthday Card

August 15, 2014 by Tina Kistinger 1 Comment

Birthday time!

Birthday time!

Another birthday card for a dear friend and card maker.  You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:

  • Cricut machine
  • Cricut Create a Critter and Create a Critter 2 cartridges
  • Cuttlebug machine
  • embossing folder
  • cardstock
  • adhesive
  • googly eyes

Fold the orchid cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″ and cut the lavender cardstock to 5.25″x 4″.  Cut all of the pieces for the raccoon at 3.5″ from the Create a Critter cartridge and the hat from the Create a Critter 2 at 4.5″.  Adhere all of the layers of the raccoon together.  Run the lavender cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss.  Adhere the raccoon, hat, and googly eyes to the embossed cardstock.

One of the best aspects of these Create a Critter cartridges is that you can mix and match the elements.  The same designer created the designs for both cartridges and that is why they work so well together.  By the way, she loved the card!
