Have a colorful birthday!
I found more inspiration on Pinterest and decided to interpret this card. You need the following tools and supplies to create it:
- Cricut machine
- Creative Memories/Cricut Tiny Treasures cartridge
- Quickutz Revolution Tabletop die-cutting tool
- Quickutz alphabet die
- cardstock
- adhesive
Fold the dark blue cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″. Cut HAPPY from the Tiny Treasures cartridge at 1″ and cut three of each letter. Adhere the HAPPY letters together. Cut BIRTHDAY from the white cardstock using the Quickutz alphabet die. Cut strips of cardstock to coordinate with HAPPY. Adhere the letters and strips to the cardstock.
I separated the letters from the strips for more definition and readability. I also changed the color way because I wanted a more contemporary feel. I was really happy with the result and the recipient was impressed too.
