He shoots…he scores!
My brother-in-law is a March Madness fanatic so a basketball birthday card was definitely in order. You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:
- Cricut machine
- Cricut Create a Friend cartridge
- Cuttlebug machine
- Cuttlebug embossing folder
- cardstock
- adhesive
- googly eyes
Fold the royal cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″ and cut the gold cardstock to 5.25″x 4″. Cut all of the pieces for the basketball player at 4.5″. Adhere all of the layers of the player together. Run the gold cardstock through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Adhere the player to the embossed cardstock and googly eyes to the player.
He is an alum of West Virginia University so the royal and gold uniform was required. My husband wrote a clever pun as part of the birthday greeting that will most probably cause some eye rolling, but it was necessary.
