Pretty flowers for our mothers!
Since my mother and mother-in-law follow my blog, I couldn’t share with you until after Mother’s Day. You need the following tools and supplies to create this card:
- Cricut machine
- Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge
- Create a Critter 2 cartridge
- Cuttlebug machine
- Cuttlebug embossing folders
- cardstock and patterned paper
- adhesive and foam dots
- circle punches
Fold the white cardstock so it is a finished size of 4.25″x 5.5″ and cut the teal cardstock to 5.25″x 4″. Cut the flowers at 2″ from the Sweet Treats cartridge. Cut the stems at 3″ from the Create a Critter 2 cartridge. Punch two circles per flower at .75″ and 1″ with circle punches. Run the teal cardstock and flower centers through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss. Put the flowers together and use foam dots to adhere the flower centers. Adhere the flowers and stems to the embossed cardstock.
The mothers loved it and in this format, they will always have flowers to remember this Mother’s Day. This floral card can be adapted to be used for any event or sentiment. I look forward to using it again in the future.
