I’ve been busy creating and I can’t wait to share them with you. Each day, I will share a new handmade card with themes of birthday, love, thank you and thinking of you. Every tutorial will include a tools and supply list plus instructions on how to complete each card. Let’s get started!

I create the most handmade cards for birthdays and I always strive to create simple, colorful yet graphic cards for the recipients. Gather the following tools and supplies to create the card for Day 1 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards:

  1. Cut the white cardstock to be 4.25″ high by 8.5″ wide.
  2. Fold the white cardstock in half lengthwise and use the bone folder to crisp the edge.
  3. Cut happy from Straight from the Nest at 1.5″ and birthday from Everyday Fonts at 1.25″.
  4. Adhere happy using the glue pen and birthday using the mini tape runner to the cardstock.
  5. Write your own sentiment or download the sentiments freebie below and mail Day 1 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards.
