Welcome to Day 28 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards! Rainbows are filled with happy colors and makes people smile. A rainbow birthday card is a perfect way to start the celebration!

Gather the following tools and supplies to create the card for Day 28 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards:

(These next 6 links are affiliate links which means I get a commission if you purchase through me.)

  1. Cut the white cardstock to be 4.25″ high by 8.5″ wide. Cut another piece of white cardstock to be 5.25″ high x 4″ wide.
  2. Fold the larger piece of white cardstock in half lengthwise and use the bone folder to crisp the edge.
  3. Use the washi chomper to cut the edges of the washi tape and set aside. Place the white cardstock panel on your self-healing mat and adhere the tape varying the lengths as shown above by cutting the tape lengths longer than the panel. Wrap the tape ends to the back of the panel.
  4. Cut celebrate using the die and Cuttlebug. Adhere celebrate to the panel using the glue pen and weigh it down with a book or another heavy object while it dries.
  5. Adhere the decorated panel to the card using foam squares.
  6. Write your own sentiment or download the sentiments freebie below and mail Day 28 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards.[mailerlite_form form_id=2]

Have you become obsessed with washi tape? Can’t stop buying it? This card allows you to dip into your washi tape stash and not feel guilty because it takes so little to create this card. Day 23 and this card both use the Washi Chomper, which provides a clean, banner cut. I love using tools to get a professional look with ease. And, this card can be created in a variety of looks depending on your collection of washi tape. Meet me back here for Day 29 of the 31 Days of Handmade Cards. Be creative!
