Welcome to Day 23 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards! Birthday gift imagery is common for birthday cards. This card is easy to make using a few simple tools and supplies to create a colorful yet stunning card.

Gather the following tools and supplies to create the card for Day 23 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards:

  1. Cut the white cardstock to be 4.25″ high by 8.5″ wide. Cut another piece of white cardstock to be 5.25″ high x 4″ wide.
  2. Fold the larger piece of white cardstock in half lengthwise and use the bone folder to crisp the edge.
  3. Run the remaining piece of white cardstock using the embossing folder through the Cuttlebug machine.
  4. Cut five pieces of patterned paper to 5/8″ x 3 1/4″. Adhere to a scrap piece of white cardstock and trim to fit.
  5. Fill in the form below to download the happy birthday tags.
  6. Cut out happy birthday and trim using the washi chomper to make it look like a banner.
  7. Adhere the gift box to the embossed cardstock using the tape runner and adhere the banner to the gift using foam squares.
  8. Tie the colored twine in a bow and adhere to the top of the gift using the glue pen.
  9. Write your own sentiment or download the sentiments freebie and mail Day 23 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards.
