Welcome to Day 22 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards! I created this card to welcome our new neighbor that moved in recently. We are so happy she moved to our charming, quaint street to bring happiness and warmth to a longtime vacant home.

Gather the following tools and supplies to create the card for Day 22 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards:

(These next 6 links are affiliate links which means I get a commission if you purchase through me at no cost to you.)

  1. Cut the white cardstock to be 4.25″ high by 8.5″ wide. Cut the blue cardstock to be 5.25″ high x 4″ wide.
  2. Fold the white cardstock in half lengthwise and use the bone folder to crisp the edge.
  3. Run the blue cardstock panel using the embossing folder through the Cuttlebug machine.
  4. Cut the house twice from the Folk Art cartridge from both white and red cardstock at 4.25″ high.
  5. Cut the house shadow from blue cardstock at 4.25″.
  6. Adhere the white house to the blue shadow using the both tape runners and adhere the red heart to the door using the mini tape runner. Adhere the completed house to the embossed cardstock using the tape runner.
  7. Write your own sentiment or download the sentiments freebie and mail Day 22 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards.

The above combination of an embossed panel combined with a large, graphic image is a example of my signature card style. This welcome card was fun to create and would look great in other color combinations. Our neighbor lives in a bungalow so this card was perfect for her.

Meet me back here for Day 23 of the 31 Days of Handmade Cards. Be creative!
