Make this easy DIY birthday card for friends, moms, dads and anyone else you can think of. Birthday cards should be cheerful and fun. It is a party after all and time for celebration. The rainbow color way lends itself to birthday cards because seeing a rainbow is pure happiness.

Gather the following tools and supplies to create the card for Day 2 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards:

  1. Cut the raspberry cardstock to be 4.25″ high by 8.5″ wide. Cut the white cardstock to be 5.25″ high x 4″ wide.
  2. Fold the raspberry cardstock in half lengthwise and use the bone folder to crisp the edge.
  3. Adhere white cardstock panel to raspberry card.
  4. Punch 7 stars from colored cardstock.
  5. Cut happy birthday using the die and Cuttlebug.
  6. Adhere the stars using the foam squares and happy birthday using the glue pen to the cardstock.
  7. Write your own sentiment or download the sentiments freebie and mail Day 2 of 31 Days of Handmade Cards.

A simple card with endless possibilities. Switch out the stars for flowers or hearts, change the greeting or change the color way. This design should be added to your card gallery to be made again and again.
